Nigerian content creator Pelumi Nubi who embarked on a solo drive in her car from London, United Kingdom, to Lagos, Nigeria, on January 31 has arrived in Lagos.
She was received at the Nigeria-Benin Republic border on behalf of the Lagos State Government by the Hon Commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, and the Special Adviser, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe.
Pelumi Nubi’s second stop was at Badagry from which she headed to the University of Lagos for her homecoming celebration.
She was involved in an accident some days ago, posting a photo of her car with a windscreen and asking her followers to pray for her.
Pelumi’s father described her safe arrival in Nigeria as the “end of anxiety”.
He told Channels TV, “I kept on telling people that what looks to you people as content creation is a nightmare for us. Every night we couldn’t sleep, so it’s been two months of fun for the whole world but not for us.”
