A man has reportedly died two days after he arrived in Nigeria to visit his sick dad.
Chiamaka Umeugorji said the deceased had complained of a stomach bug before dying on Saturday, March 30. She lamented that the deceased was his family’s breadwinner and had spent 14 years abroad before deciding to visit his sick father in the village.
She lamented that his ongoing projects would be stopped due to his death.
It is unclear where the incident occurred but a video showed a coffin surrounded by young men waiting to take his remains away for burial.

The incident sparked comments on social media with many alleging he was poisoned.
Modas_pot_culinary said, “So painful. That’s how my friend’s sister died at the airport on her way back to UK after visiting Nigeria. She died of food poisoning. From what we’re told it was at an airport reconnecting flight her body just started swelling up and she carried her mom to go spend few months with her and come back. The mom didn’t get to UK the young vibrant UK nurse and citizen just died like that.”
Officialmichelleada: “Hmm… my father went “home” to Nigeria. My so called uncle poisoned him to steal the house/land he had built while abroad. We are still in court with that evil man now. I won’t say what happened here, but looks suspicious. It is well.”

If an autopsy is performed, you will be surprised to see underlying factors to their death and not witchcraft! Most Africans take little or no care of their personal health.”
