Canada is one of Nigerians’ preferred destinations for green pastures with diverse entry routes into the North American country.
However, there have been complaints in recent times about the conditions of living in the country. Some have complained about rising accommodation costs and fewer job opportunities while some have decried higher school fees for international students.
Recently, a Nigerian woman said she was pickpocketed by some high school students in a subway in Toronto. She claimed her bag was emptied and she was only fortunate her airpods and phone were not kept along with her other belongings in her bag.
She warned other Nigerians to be careful as the area had become unsafe.
