An eight-year-old boy, Ryan Akabusi, who went missing in Richmond, Texas, United States, has been found dead.

The autistic boy was said to have disappeared from his home at 19900 block of Kendall Lake Drive around 4:30 am on Saturday morning and was nowhere to be found.
His mum, Ademorowa Oladeinde, told ABC13 on Saturday that home surveillance footage showed her son leaving their house. She said half an hour later, her neighbour’s camera captured him walking on a nearby street.
She added that she later found his shoes on the road.
Texas EquuSearch was said to have launched a search party to locate him but failed.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office has now said he was found dead in a lake close to where he went missing.

Captain Dalia Simons of the Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office did not confirm how Akabusi entered the lake, but his death did not show signs of foul play, ABC 7 Chicago reported.
Investigators are in the process of gathering surveillance footage to explain his disappearance further.
