A Nigerian hair vendor has narrated how she was robbed after delivering a wig to a client in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Narrating her ordeal, she said she left her house in Mississauga, within the same province, to deliver a wig ordered by an online customer. She stated that she was apprehensive when the customer delayed for hours before showing up in the opposite direction.
The businesswoman, name unknown, said her client had come with a friend, leading her to believe she was trying to be safe since they had never met before.
Upon handing over the bag to the lady, she and her friend fled. She added that she chased after them but they got away.
She also said some children who had been playing outside the house they met said they had never seen her before, confirming her suspicion that she had sent her a fake address.
Reacting to the incident, an Instagram user, Aishh_Ewatoms said, “Ah, you’re nice o or is it desperation for customers? You traveled without collecting any payment? Not even delivery fee.”
Another user, Codesthaguru said, “My advice to you. You are not suppose to deliver to who has not paid you. You should have collected your money and delivery fee before leaving your house. Payment validate delivery.”
Funmiajayi_: “Maybe she met the lady on facebook marketplace. Sorry for your loss.”
Misidusogie: “You people are just ghetto in that Ontario.”
Duch_sucre: “What nationality are they? This Brampton is too notorious for bad things. Nawao.”
361degrees: “The streets of Brampton ain’t smiling. Be careful out there.”
