The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has deported 400 Nigerians.

The deportees comprising 310 males and 90 females arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and were received by the office of the National Security Adviser, the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and other stakeholders.
Another 103 Nigerians were deported from Turkey and arrived at the Abuja airport on Friday. They were received by government officials led by NEMA.

Recall that about 264 Nigerians were informed that their visas have been cancelled on arrival at the Kind Abdulaziz International Airport, Hajj Terminal, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in November, 2023.
