A Nigerian entertainer based in South Africa, Oluwasegun Akinola Opaogun, also known as Opa6ix, has denied the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declared him wanted for alleged fraud.

Some reports said that the 34-year-old was declared wanted for fraud, which made him flee to South Africa.
Opaogun, in a statement published on Instagram, warned blogs and individuals spreading the news to desist, threatening legal action.

However, checks by Japajantis showed the singer was indeed declared wanted for fraud.
The anti-graft agency published his photograph alongside three others, declaring them wanted for fraud and other criminal activities on April 12, 2021.
