A Nigerian man based in Europe has explained why he sent his children back to Nigeria to study.
In a TikTok video posted by @Italiandavido, the man, name unknown, said he had sent his children back to Nigeria to study because he did not want them to grow up in Europe.
He said they would lose their roots if they were bred in Europe. He explained that the only reason he has achieved success while living in Europe is because he understood the hardship back in Nigeria and it inspired him to be a better person.
He also said children raised in the West may lack proper training obtainable in Nigeria, saying they may call the police on their parents if they wish.
He insisted that Nigeria still has good schools that could raise sound children, saying his children will only return to Europe after their tertiary education.
