Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced that fees for permanent resident applications will be increased.
It announced this via a statement on X on Thursday.
It said the increment is in line with its usual practice of increasing application fees for permanent residents every two years to manage growing service delivery and program delivery costs.
Fees for all permanent resident applications will increase on April 30, 2024, as part of a routine update. These fees increase every 2 years to manage growing program and service delivery costs and to keep up with inflation.
