A Nigerian woman has accused some high school students of pickpocketing her at a subway in Toronto, Canada.
She said she was with her friend when she saw some high school students running towards them. She said they had passed by them without any incident but she later discovered her handbag had been emptied, claiming the students could have been responsible.
She warned other Nigerians living in the city to be careful as pickpocketing was on the rise in Toronto.
She was however, thankful that she did not have any valuables in the bag at the time of the incident. She said her airpods were in her jacket and the pickpockets only got away with her gloves, hand lotion and other unimportant items.
Reacting to the Instagram video, Ngoziexcel93 said, “Lolz….the stole my luggage…like a whole big bag full of cloth…mum took me shopping nd on my way bk to my place just at the bus station I started looking for my bag…it was a terrible experience…am sure it was a homeless person that took it….”
